Service needs to improve.... but food is awesome! The bean burros are bomb, flautas... how the food is portioned is good! :) recommend this place for sure especially if anyone is from out of town! Try it out!

We arrived with a group, seated fast, quick service. Some of our group wanted breakfast items at lunch and the kitchen did that for us. Great staff. Sometimes eating in a large group 9 can cause a pain for the staff. But they were wonderful lots of smiles. Fresh salsa, all good food.

I don't usually write a review but the food at El Zarape was AWFUL yesterday. I looked online for reference to a good Mexican food restaurant. One listed closed at 4 p.m. (that seems strange) and El Zarape had 4+ stars so I went there. The enchilada tortilla was like cardboard; the chicken was like leather or two weeks old; the beans was a soupy mess... simply, it was AWFUL... I would not return to El Zarape nor would I recommend it to anyone. Zero stars. K. Mitchell, Mesa, AZ
